Rough Arris Edge
This edge is produced by a rough stone, wet belt or split Arris diamond wheel. The edge of the glass is left with a white Arrised edge This is typically used for toughened glass.
This type of finish is available only on request.
This type of finish is produced on a CNC machine leaving a polished edge. Available only on 12mm and 15mm glass. Suitable for furniture, features and decorative panels.
Bevelled edges are produced on speciality machinery at various width depending on glass thickness. They are suitable for mirrors, furniture, feature and decorative panels. They are available on thicknesses of 4mm and over.
Round & Polish Edge
This type of finish is available on 6mm, 10mm and 12mm glass, with a maximum 2000mm diameter.
Flat Polish Edge
This is the standard edge produced by a straight line rectilinear machine and produces a fine polished flat edge suitable for all furniture glass and frameless toughened panels. It can also be produced on a CNC machine where shape polishing is needed.
Rectilinear machines produce mitred edges with a ground or polished edge. These edges are used for glass silicone butt joints at all angles and exposed edges. They are available on thickness 6mm over.
